    Good Overview of SSDs

    Hey Y'all,

Here's a good article from Life Hacker on SSDs. HTH

BTW: When reading keep in mind that OCZ is no more.

Ya, and as long we users still have them it will be relevant also, my three are still okie dokie. Price is going to date it more than anything, I just picked up two more SSDs for 50 cents per gig (Crucial M500s). I suspect a round of pricing reductions is nigh, although the higher capacity drives will still be more per gig probably. It's less expensive for me to load up an axillary SSD with huge Steam games than buy one 480 gig drive, though it seems to be inching ever closer to parity.

Have they been re-branded and selling them under a different name. As RG says, OCZ can't be bought here in the states...as far as I know at this point in time. Newegg and Tigerdirect don't even list them any more.
