    Thumbs up IE11 homepage protection

For the many of you/us having lost their homepage on Internet Explorer (changed to another homepage or to about:blank)

    I found this solution on:

    http://www.thewindowsclub.com/lock-i...e-page-Windows

    Using IE11 and Win 8.1

It works very well and I hope no malware will bypass it.

!! be aware to copy (ctrl-C) the address you want as a homepage before starting the (easy) procedure: you'll need it.

Just a note for any Win 7 users with this problem, gpedit doesn't work in Home Premium or lower.

    Sudo,

WARNING *** Before attempting this make sure you have a current Image of your Boot Drive! ***

You can get GPEdit.msc as detailed here. I've used this successfully. YMMV

Thanks for the link RG, but I think I'll leave that as a last resort before downloading the batch files.
