    What is using the Internet

Win 7 x 64. I notice activity lights on my modem/router when I am not actively using the internet. Is there a utility which can analyse what programs or processes are using the connection

If you don't want to learn the switches for the built-in NBTSTAT then try Sysinternals' TCPView. Alternatively, have a look at Nir Sofer's CurrPorts (or TcpLogView). Personally I find TCPView and CurrPorts to be best.
