    Brain Freeze

I have six people that are sharing 1 1/2# of meat.
So, (Amount/Servings) *16 means each serving gets 4 oz. of meat
ok that is pretty easy but now I want to convert that amount of meat downward from 6 people to 4 people. So, I'll take 4 Servings *4oz and now to serve 4 people at 4oz per serving I only need 1#. TADA!!!!!!!!
Ok so where I am losing it is I need to tie those two calculations into 1 so that I only enter Quantity (1#), Original Serving (12), and New Serving (4). and then convert that answer back to pounds.

    thanks

    Thanks John

    =Quantity / (original serving) * (New Serving)

No conversion is neccessary it will be in the same units as the Quantity is in.

Don't know about Maud but we had our power out for 17.5 Hours and no water for 14.5 hours. You should see our yard so may branches down and trees ruined! I'll be sawing all day tomorrow!

    Maud,

I don't think my Honda Fit ... fits the definition!
Of course I could park my 36ft Motor Home in the driveway for the picture.

    Hi RG

    THIRTY-SIX FEET!
Do you keep your canoe in it???
Does it have a bowling alley???

Blimey! 36 feet = two adults and sixteen children, no, make that two adults, twelve children, one horse and a dog.
