    I found this...Seagate disk wizard utility is used to convert the drive to GPT. Seems very easy....Thanks again RG.

    Format removes any partition/file metadata, scans for bad sectors, and writes the new MBR (or GPT), but it doesn't write zeros. It won't take 3 days.
    Create a fresh drive image before making system changes, in case you need to start over!
