Is it possible to create a library of useful routines?

I have a bunch of routines that I keep in a module. Each time I create a new Excel program using macros, I copy the module into the Excel workbook and rename it to something useful.

However, it would be much nicer if I just had it once and was able to reference that module from other workbooks. It would mean I only had to manage one module to add new items, modify code etc.

    Is this possible?

    thanks for any ideas

You can put them into your personal.xls / personal.xlsb workbook and they will be available. You could also create an addin with them if desired.

You may also want to create class modules, They can be imported or used externally by referencing it from the Tools> Referencing... menus if using early binding. It is a little more work up front but the payoff in the end is huge.
