    win7 install w/o format

Recently there was an article in your newsletter that dealt with reinstalling win7 without removing existing files. I've looked through your archives but can't find it. The method was using a different win7 disk of the proper type, but entering the original key at the proper time.

The procedure is known as a Repair Install and if you don't have a Win 7 SP1 ISO then you can download it and use Windows USB/DVD Burner Tool to create either a bootable USB/DVD from the following links, but go into Windows/System32 to back up your drivers first so that you can drop them back in after the install.
