How do I get rid of Pando Media Booster?

I run Windows 7 on a PC. A week of so ago I started to get a pop-up which asked me to download the program Pando Media Booster. I have never loaded it but it keeps coming up. How do I get rid of this pop-up request? Is this program a problem? Any help will be appreciated.

    Sumac,

The first thing I would try is to download MalwareBytes Free. Install the program then reboot into Safe Mode and run a Full Scan from there. HTH

You might want to look in Control panel > Programs and Features and see if theres an entry for Pando Media Booster you can use to uninstall it first. Then make a Malwarebytes run as suggested by RG.
