    HP XP to Win 7?

My girlfriend ordered a new computer and she wants her daughter to have the old one. I am going to have the task of upgrading her old one to win 7 for her daughter.
The old system is HP XW4600 workstation with XP Pro sp3. I had her order a OEM win 7 Pro sp1, 32 bit disc.
I went to the HP support site and they seem to have a ton of win 7 drivers for her old workstation. My concern is that HP drivers have an "SP" in front of all the drivers for her computer. That designation is for HP machines.
Since this will no longer be an HP machine ( other than the BIOS ). Will these drivers be a problem?
Thanks for any and ALL information/advice.

Running MS's Upgrade Advisor will tell you if the XP machine can run Win 7 as not all older machines can but if HP have Win 7 drivers for the installed hardware/devices then you should be okay and these would seem to suitable http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/sit...tte.cachetoken

Thanks, I did run the upgrade advisor first but was unsure of using the HP drivers. So, I assume from your responce, that all the HP drivers should be ok to use.

If those drivers are specifically for your make and model, then yes, they'll be just fine.
