    Security Alert

    I created a database for my daughter in Access 2003. She has office 2010, and when she tries to open it, she gets the usual Security Alert about VBA Macros. I know that in Access 2003, you turn this off in Tools>Macro>Security, but I haven't a clue with 2010. How does she turn it off? Because of the security setting, none of the buttons on the Switchboard are displayed. It's the usual scenario of pressing ok buttons to allow the macros which she has to go through every time.

    As with all things Microsoft, the later the version the deeper the useful controls!

    File->Options->Trust Center->Trust Center Settings->Macro Settings

    You might like to instead add the location of the database to Trusted Locations, which allows you to leave the macro setting at a safe level for all other locations.
