Skype won't pop up chats on Win 8 desktop
Hi, I am running Windows 8.1 64-bit, latest updates installed. I downloaded the latest Skype (188.8.131.52) for Windows so that I could install on the desktop. All works as expected except that when someone IMs me I do not see the Skype icon in my taskbar. If I am at my PC I hear the notification and see the icon in the system tray, but no notification in the taskbar as I had in Windows 7.
I have checked all of the user preferences to be sure that I had the notifications enabled, so I am assuming that it is a bug. Is anyone able to get this working on 8.1?
