Acronis True Image 2013 v. Macrium Reflect Profession

I just tried using Macrium. I backed up an entire disk, active partition and setup files, and it created an image of roughly 175 gigs.

The last backup I made with Acronis -- of just my active partition -- was 255 gigs.

    Can that be right?

Before backing up, my "standard" "C" drive is 581 gigs with about 400 free. My "D" drive -- setups -- is 101 gigs with 3 gigs free.

That's a marked difference in backup size. Does anyone know or have experience to shed light on this?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

Not that I am aware of. I have always just let Acronis "work on its own."
