Easily move files between Windows and Android

    By Lincoln Spector

If you've got a Windows PC and an Android phone or tablet, using a cable to sync data between the two platforms is clumsy at best and sometimes disastrous.

But with the right software, you can use a local network or the Internet to copy, move, and sync files across the great OS divide.

Try FTP Server by Olive Tree, available for free on the Google Play store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...tree.ftpserver. It is way better. You start it on your Android device, which then becomes an FTP server. You connect to it via your choice of ftp client on your PC. You can navigate around the Android file structure and move files back and forth with great ease.

I use Airdroid and just did it's update today...now it does not work with IE10 nor Chrome but does work with FireFox.

Maybe we need an explanation/article on why so many web pages break with IE10 (or 11?) or any browser...and which browser works best with all websites??? or do they all have failures with some websites?
