    incomplete programs and features list in control panel

    I was uninstalling a bunch of crapware from a computer when the screen went blank and when it came back most of the programs list in control panel is gone. All entries below M are gone. Is there a way to fix this?

    Run a malware scan with MBAM and at least two of these;

    RKill 2.6.5.0 Download
    ComboFix 14.3.13.1 Download
    AdwCleaner
    DRIVE IMAGING
    Invest a little time and energy in a well thought out BACKUP regimen and you will have minimal down time, and headache.

    After you make the runs suggested by Clint, do a System Restore to a date prior to the infection.
