    Print Screen problem

Unable to get print screen to work. Hit PrtScr key, go to paint and hit ctrl-v, nothing happens. wondering if it could be because appearance settings for screen are set for all type to be large for my elderly relative whose computer it is. Most everything he looks at overflows a normal screen. Am I on right track or is there some other trick I'm missing?
    thanks.

That's a possibility, but not exclusively so...
Have a look here to see if there is a fix for you.

I think you need to hit <ALT>-<PrintScreen>.

If the computer is running Windows 7, a nice alternative to the above is Snipping Tool. It allows you to box off and select a part of the screen, if you don't want to copy the entire screen.

Jim, I think you need to hit <ALT>-<PrintScreen>.

Does not work here, it is Shift <Print Screen > . Did you fumble this one ? Jean.
