    I have to disagree with you if you are a single person like me and only plan to use Office on one PC and/or one Windows tablet. Why pay $30 more to install it on 5 PC's when you don't have them?

    I guess they did it just for situations like yours, so it's indeed a better option for you. $30 is not much though.

    Or you might consider purchasing rather than the subscription model. Do the math to check the break even point.
