sending mail from Hotmail to Outlook (OE 4)

Hi, I'm not sure if this has ever worked before - can I unload my hotmail mailbox (which is getting full) into Outlook? The only way I know is to open each one and forward it, which at that point drops the original sender's name and RE, which is how I keep track of them. They all are from me, that's no good! Thanks for any and all thoughts, including jokes. <img src=/S/2cents.gif border=0 alt=2cents width=15 height=15>

Re: sending mail from Hotmail to Outlook (OE 4)

    Hi Naomi

Yes you can setup Outlook Express to download your Hotmail account messages and store them on your local driver.

This is documented in the OLH of Hotmail and Outlook Express.

In your setup you need to assign Hotmail as your mail server provider like in the image I attached to this message.

BUT there are some issues where Hotmail deletes your local messages when you synch. if you care.
