    According to: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2866064

You can work around this issue in IE 11 by using Compatibility view.

Downgrading IE 11 back to IE 10 was bad move. Now, IE 10 will not install (same message as before - get Internet Explorer did not finish installing message) and now I am having trouble re-installing IE 11 as well !

Any better suggestions ? Thanks !

That's why I advised creating a restore point first should it have reverted to the bad install !

Check your restore points as Windows tends to auto create a restore point whenever anything is installed/uninstalled.

I tend to advise manually creating one as a belt and braces.

Well I got IE 11 re-installed ! I will just stay with IE 11 at this time. However, IE 11 has compatibility problems with many of my favorite websites.

Add your favourite websites to the Compatibility List which could ease that problem for them or some, as it doesn't always work.

I re-installed IE 11. I'll just keep working the website compatibility problem. Thanks, CB
