SQLServer 7 Backups Question (7)
My disk that holds SQLServer is fast filling up. I had a look and can see
that the backups are helping this to occur. I've got .TRN and .BAK for each
day per database. How far back would you recommend. I see no need to go back
further than a month as we cater for this with backup tapes etc.
What is the best way to get rid of these files. Is it simply a matter of deleting both
TRN and BAK files for each day. Does SQL have a solid method for this to
happen automatically ?
