    Reloading

Most times, when I reboot my Win95 system, it comes up with an Explorer error message telling me that I need to reload Windows. Other times, it will appear to reboot okay but trying to run any program causes a crash. If I reboot three or four times, eventually, Windows will load and everything will work fine until I have to reboot again.

Can I reload Windows 95 without having to reinstall all my programs and rebuild all my menus, shortcuts, and the like? If so, how would I do that?

    Re: Reloading

Sure, you can reload Windows 95. But do you want to just re-run setup, which in my experience doesn't solve any problems, or do you want to install it new, as if it had never been there to begin with?

    Re: Reloading

My goal is to get my machine working properly with the lowest risk of causing other problems and the least amount of work on my part.

I have noticed that the error message I get mentions kernel32.DLL if that makes any difference.
