    Email merge (XP)

I am running Windows xp pro with office XP. I did an Email merge from an access database into a word document. As each one merges, Outlook Express asks for permission since an outside program is accessing the mail system. Is there a way to stop this?

I don't see the option in Outlook Express, but in Outlook it is in Tools/Macro/Security, and then you have to set the level to low. Since Outlook Express doesn't have that option, maybe it isn't possible.

One other thought: have you tried changing the macro security setting in Word? I wouldn't think that would be it, since it's an Outlook Express message, but you never know.

Which version of Outlook Express are you using? In 6, under Tools, Options, Security, there is a checkbox for 'warn me when other applications try to send mail as me' which sounds like it could stop the trigger you're getting ...
