    Outlook rule not working

I use Outlook 2010 web app through college and created an inbox rule to forward to my home email address but the rule does not work. Nothing forwards. Any help? Thanks, TappiKid

Do you have more than one rule?
Perhaps the college has put some restrictions on rules. Have you tried contacting the support people at college?
Please post a screenshot of the rule obscuring any email addresses or other personal information.

I have only one rule. I have talked with the IT people at the college and they said this is not for them to handle but for microsoft outlook. I have looked online and only found how to set up a rule in the outlook web app and I have done all those steps correctly. I don't know how to post a screenshot of the rule but it goes like this:
Rule: After the message arrives and... "Apply to all messages"
Do the following... "redirect the message to person@domainaddress.net and stop processing rules on this message"
I test it with a message to it and nothing is forwarded. I checked again today and there sits new email and nothing forwarded. The rule all appears to be set up correctly but does not work.

The IT man at the college said it was being done by others in the system (I do not know who or I would contact them!) but that within the college security IT they do not address this but just issues to make sure that my computer works with the web app to get email. I want it to forward directly to my home email address so I do not have to go online to the college site to check email.

Do you already have enough email including sent & deleted items that you've exceeded the mail box size?

What browser and which version of the browser are you using?

Not exceeded any mail box size or even near reaching limits. I use Google Chrome new 2013 computer and my computer says: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" for the properties of the shortcut to it.

Are you by chance using the light version of OWA?

Have you tried deleting the rule & recreating it?

Are you sending the test email from a third account?

I have done that but still the same. I have sent test emails from my home email to see if it would come back via the forward rule. It does not. Email to me from others (all within the college system) come to my inbox but stay there and the forwarding rule does not send on. I sent a test email from a third account and that did not forward either.

Have you double checked that the rule is enabled?

Have you tried setting the rule to forward instead of redirect?
