    Am receiving duplicate email Newsletters

I have started receiving duplicate Windows Secrets Newsletter emails. It began on 17 April 2014. For many years I've been receiving the emails at just one of my current email addresses. Always the same address.

On 17 and 24 April, I received the Newsletter email at the usual address and a duplicate at an email address associated with a previous ISP that I haven't used for many years. The emails look identical.

Could the duplicate emails have been sent from Windows Secrets, or might this be a scam?

    Thanks

    Geoff

I've started receiving the same but the other way around - was/is an ISP email address and now receiving them in my gmail one.

Don't know why, but I have always received the Newsletter on Thursday pm (and still do) - but the gmail one gets here on a Wednesday.

Your best bet is to click on the "Contact" tab at top of the page and fill out the form there. That will go to the Newsletter editor. We in the Lounge have no access to Newsletter subscription information or control over Newsletter delivery.

    Reporting back as promised.

Had a reply from a lady at WindowsSecrets Editor <editor@windowssecrets.com>

Apparently it was due to a mistake within the marketing team. It has been resolved. I will not get any further duplicate emails.

    Excellent service.

Pleased to hear it was not a scam.

I suddenly got a second newsletter on a second (obsolete) email address.
I simply unsubscribed that email address.
