    Journal (OL2002)

I find the journal very useful at times (eg recalling what I actually did several days ago ! & especially trying to find a file that I know I worked on several month ago but cannot quite recall where I put it or what its name was).

BUT sadly this function appears to be quite limited, only recording activity for 4 main Office applications, plus phone calls where a journal entry has been specifically requested.

IS there anyway of adding other applications to the list recorded in Journal, including, dare I ask, non-MS applications (such as graphics program & Fortran compiler !!) ? That would be seem to significantly add to the functionality of the Journal.

Maybe you could write a VBScript that would push the information into Outlook, and call that from some kind of batch file when you start the graphics program or a command-line compile.

I would like to be able to use the journal with other programs. Your suggestion sounds OK, but how would I start to actually do it?

    Thanks for your help.
