    Windows 8.1.1 Update

    I have tried to get the 8.1.1 update from Windows Update via a desktop shortcut and via PC Settings, without success. (I am running Windows 8.1).

    Can someone please give me a download link?

    Thanks and regards,
    Roy

    Windows 8.1 Update 1: How to Download it Now

    Direct download links to KB2919442, KB2932046, KB2919355, KB2938439, & KB2937592.
    KB2919355 (update to W8.1) should be installed last.

    CLiNT, thanks. I checked in Update History and found that KB2919442 and KB2919355 have been installed. However, KB2932046, KB2938439 and KB2937592 are not listed and are not being offered to me. Should I download and install them from your links?

    Please advise.

    Thanks and regards, Roy

    KB2919355 is the 8.1 update. You needn't concern yourself with the rest.

    A quick way to tell if you actually have the 8.1 update is to check the properties on the taskbar and note the checkbox reference to the Windows Store on the taskbar.
    It will confirm that KB2919355, as displayed in "installed updates", is actually present & functioning.

    Have you tried going to Windows Update?

    Settings-> Control Panel->{View by: Small icons}-> Windows Update-> Check for updates-> {(n) optional (update is|updates are) available}

    If you install Windows 8.1 via Windows Update the installer will install all the necessary fixes. You need not worry about KB2932046, KB2938439 and KB2937592.
