I'm trying to auto fill the day when i input the dates.
however, i only need the " Sunday " to be fill in / appear. Don't need the rest of the days.
For now i have to input manually.

If you just want to do it manually, just enter "Sunday" in the appropriate row, then highlight it And the preceding 6 rows. With the mouse, Grab the dot at the bottom right of the highlighted area, and drag down. This should enter Sunday in every 7th row, but I noticed in Excel 2010 that you also have to hold down the Ctrl button as you drag, or it starts incrementing the day of the week.

    Hope this is clear.

Assuming the dates are in Col A staring in row 1, enter the formula in B1:
    =IF(WEEKDAY(A1)=1,"Sunday","")

    Copy/Autofill it down the column
