    Win8.1 and FLASH

After 10 years of XP, I broke down and bought a new computer with Win8.1 installed.

I've read several places that Microsoft is not keen on Adobe-Flash and recent news events about Internet Explorer and Flash serve to re-in force MS's position.

However, like many others I keep being nagged by websites that I need to install Flash.

    Does anyone have any advice?

    Flash or no-Flash?

    Paul
btw, I've upgraded MalWarebytes V2.0.1.1004 to the latest edition and it runs quickly on my XP system, even when it checks for rootkits.

If you are running IE or Chrome there is no need to install Flash. It is included in both these browsers. Updates to Flash are included in the regular updates to the browsers.

Same here, and I'm running RT. can see pages on my tablet just as nicely as those that require flash on my Win 7 laptop.
    Thanks John
