Exclamation Outlook 2010 Links Don't Work

I recently updated some drivers (Win 7 Home Premium 64), and after that, my Outlook 2010 links stopped working. Whenever I click on a link, I get this message:

"This operation has been canceled due to restrictions on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."

I tried cleaning up I.E., which I read could be the culprit, and even removed I.E. 9, to no avail.

I tried restoring to an earlier time, but now restore won't work, either. My Outlook hates me. The feeling is becoming mutual. Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks!

Try the Microsoft Fix It for this situation (which can be caused by uninstalling Chrome): Hyperlinks are not working in Outlook

(It worked for others here: Links don't work in Outlook 2010)

(... and here: Outlook 2007 Web toolbar suddenly not working)

(... and here: Unable To Click on links within outlook emails)

Nope. The MS fix-it links, which I've tried in the past, return an error, whether I try them with Opera or I.E. Strange. Just can't get them to work.

Microsoft Error Message 50388. I've tried a dozen times, and I always get the same error message.
