    How to get rid of unwanted additions to Google.com page

    I just downloaded and installed ScreenHunter on my wife's new Win8.1 laptop and now the Google.com search page looks different. See the attached picture. As you can see, there is a box on the lower part of the page claiming I need new drivers and there is a magnifying glass symbol above the search entry line. Neither one was there before this download and I can't find any way to get rid of them. There are no additional new installs in the list of installed programs and there doesn't appear to be any new IE add-on that shouldn't be there. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    You picked up the Conduit Search malware by using the default install. See:

    It is all cleaned up now and everything seems to be back to normal.
