    Advanced Property Editor

I have the latest version of Mozilla Thunderbird and and often Advanced Property Editor pops up at the most inconvenient times. I would like to know how to control it and, better yet, how to delete it. I have Win 7 Prof.

APE pops up when you double click on white space whilst editing. It seems to be by design and only not double clicking will stop it appearing.

    cheers, Paul

Googled and got this link - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/se...roperty+editor. Might have been you that started it!

I guess the problem is that different people use different methods to select text - so I use the mouse to select multiple lines (click start and drag to end) rather than double clicking anything. But are MS to be thanked or blamed for giving us different ways of achieving the same thing!

When I access the Configuration Editor I have no idea which line I should change and what to change it to should I find it which so far I can't.
