    Mozilla Thunderbird email deletion problem

When I have read an email and delete it that email plus the next one is also deleted. How can I correct this problem?

Do not "Double-Click" the "Delete" button, just "Click" it one time.

It's possible your mouse is double clicking because the button is going bad.

Defective mouse was the correct diagnosis; thanks for the tip. Never had a mouse go bad before.
