    Count Text Box on Report

I am having a brain cramp. Maybe because it is a Friday.
I have a text box on a report that counts the number of records on the report (=Count[Name]). No problem there. I have a second box that I want to add that will also count the records but I only want it to count the number of records that have a check mark(yes) in a yes/no box on the report. The problem with that box is that there will be reports with no boxes checked so I need a type of NZ = 0 type code to go with the iif or countif function. The field name is [Student]. Any suggestions?

The usual solution for this issue is to do a Sum() of the field with the check mark - the True conditions will be a -1 so you then have to take the ABS() function and convert it to a positive number. The one worry is if your back-end is a table in Access, then binary fields can have a null condition - we usually work around that by forcing the field to be either True or False by not allowing nulls.
