Should print on one page (A97 SR2)

I run a report and it fits on one page. When the user runs the report it goes to two pages. I am using 800 x 600 resolution while the user is running 1024 x 768 resolution. Changing the user's resolution to 800 x 600 did not correct the problem. I have tried page setup and changing the margins on the user's report to no avail.

I should note that I am running a subreport within the report. The main report contain the captions while the subreport contains the data.

Why does the user's report output to two pages instead of one?

Did you change the page setup in the control panel of windows or in the design view from the report ? Should be in the design view.

While I was on the client's computer, while in print preview, I used the Access Window's control panel to reduce the report's margins. No luck.

I mispoke that I had a subreport in the report. It is a multiple column form. The columns snake to eight columns.

If the report works on my computer, why won't it work on the client's computer?

Maybe the default paper format is different ?
    Different Fonts?
    I don't know.
Open the report in design view, make the over all width from your report as narrow as possible and from the File menu open the page setup, narrow your margins and save the report.
The page setup will be saved with the report.

The client probably has a different printer or at least different drivers, and that is a problem that Access has no control over. Does the client have the same SR of Access 97, and do they have the same Windows version and service packs? All those things can be part of the problem, but usually opening the report in design view on the client's computer settting the printer settings for the report and then saving it on the client's machine will correct the problem.
