Question Removing/Disabling Items in Available Connections

Hello! There is a wireless network in range that uses an SSID that is mildly offensive, but it's been there for ages and I'm tired of seeing it. Is there a way for me to disable that network from displaying in the list of available wireless networks or disabling that list altogether?

I'm using Windows 7. If it matters, my router is a Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH2 using DD-WRT, and my wireless card is a Realtek RTL8190.

Maybe an odd question, so thanks for reading.

I don't think so, the list is populated by networks the adapter can see. You'd need to turn the offending router off to remove it.

    cheers, Paul

One should only have to look at that list very infrequently if always using the same wireless network and connecting automatically to it. We have three here and I haven't seen those listed for months, until I just checked now to see if they were still there.
