Firewall (Win 98/norton pers. firewall 2001)

Since installing the firewall, pictures and icons from the internet don't show up. I get a box with a small red X in it that I can right click and open by clicking on "show picture". I have my Privacy and Security settings on medium as suggested. If I put these on the low setting will I be setting myself up for problems? I do have a DSL connection. Is this normal when you add a firewall? <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>

I assume the privacy and security setings you're talking about are in your internet options, right, and that you've checked the Advanced tab to make sure you haven't turned off something you need? Have you checked the settings in the Norton firewall as well? Firewall products (I use zonealarm so I'm generalizing here) have their own settings that control what is allowed in or out through the firewall, so you need to check both places.
