Preventing ESC stroke in PPS (PPT 2000/2002)

Just a while ago, i looked for a way to prevent accidental sopping of PPS presentation by ESC stroke. It is rather inconvenient to end the presentation like that, and pressing the ESC key by accident is not unusual. Of course, ALT+F4 remains and should be sufficient whether presenter wishes to stop the presentation.

I have tried a way I got used in Excel, using Application.OnKey method. But it came to my surprise that there is no such a metod in PowerPoint.

Any ideas how to achieve this goal?
