    Memory leak in Word 2013?

Word became unresponsive and threw this error:

There is insufficient memory or disk space. Word cannot display the requested font.

I have 8 G of memory, plenty of disk space, and a very robust system. So I call bullshit on that, as far as my system goes. So Word must be the culprit. Any ideas?

Soemthing is seriously wrong with my Word install (part of Student version of Office 2013). Slowing to a crawl after a few minutes of use. This is a fresh reinstall from yesterday, one that I had to do via the phone b/c MS squawked that I was unable to install it on another computer (which I wasn't since a drive failed and this is part of a new Windows install on another drive). I installed using the phone method and it was fine.

    This should not be happening.

Try opening Word in Safe Mode by holding down the Ctrl key while opening Word. If this allows Word to work happily without the slowdown you describe then it is a safe bet that one of your add-ins or templates is causing the problem.
