Word 2010 pdf font display screwed up after latest patches

After installing the June security patches, saving a WORD document as an xps or pdf file displays a different font than what was used in the doc. Not only that, but the 'font' is all screwy looking, the tracking is at something like minus 50, the letters overlapping. The font in question is Segoe UI, a system ttf not otf, which seemed even stranger.

I did a system restore and the problem went away but I don't know which of the remaining updates caused the problem.

    kb/2880529 update
    kb/2767915 Security update WORD
    kb/982726 Definitions

I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and, if so, how they fixed it.

I have the same updates on Win7 Ultimate 64-bit and Word 2010 but don't see the problem on both a bill of sale form and a simple text-only letter using Save As and both .pdf and .xps formats. I tried with the default Calibri and the Segoe UI.

Thanks. My document was rather heavily formatted. Dunno if that was part of the issue.
