Windows 7 does not allow post editing here

If I try to EDIT a post here I get a blank form with no text to edit.

That's a browser issue, not a Windows issue. So, we would need to know which browser you are using and which add-ons and security software you are using.

I turned off Ad Block but I still cannot edit. I cannot see previous text, add new text or click any buttons to Save, Cancel or Delete

I can edit with IE, but I've used Chrome on XP with no problems here.

I suppose you have IE installed. Can you try it, just to establish Chrome as definitive culprit?

I can edit with IE, but I've used Chrome on XP with no problems here. That's why I mentioned Windows 7.

I just edited with Chrome in XP, no problem

Chrome on Windows 7 works fine. It's just a specific problem with your installation. Now, why that happens I can't really tell. Do you have any sort of restrictions on javascript or scripts?

No restrictions. I checked both versions of Chrome and the settings are all identical.

The Windows 7 machine seems to have scroll problems on Twitter too. I really hate Win 7 already...

Have you tried refreshing the page when the scroll doesn't work ?

An operating system is not responsible for one specific browser behavioral issues. If you need to blame anyone, it's Chrome that is malfunctioning.

As long as it is not your fault! I just wanted to let you all know. I'm not gonna play the blame game...

You can always try to reset Chrome's settings to their default value and see if that helps.

I was just able to edit a post in the XP Forum, but it had multiple lines of text.
