    Attached files (Access 2000)

I am creating a database to replace a manual Engineering Change tracking system. I need a method of attaching files (drawings, specs, etc.) to a form (viewed on screen) and report (printed). Are there any words of wisdom for me out there?

1.In the table add a text field that will contain the name and the path of the drawing file related to the record.
2.On the form add a image control.
3.In the on current event from the form set the picture property of the image control to the field create in step 1

Just to add a footnote to Francois' excellent response. DO NOT try to import image files into Access! Access is notoriously bad at storing these images.
