    Common shape for all presentations

    I end up using the same shape in many of my presentations, a square with a white line and white fill. I have figured out how to make it available inside a presentation but I have to set that up each time I create a new presentation. Is there a way to have it always available on my machine with any new presentation?

    (A work around is copying/pasting but that gets old.)

    Try this (assumes version 2007 / 2010. There are slightly different steps for 2013)

    Open a Blank Presentation
    Add a rectangle and format it as desired
    Save As
    TYPE=Template *.potx
    Name= Blank
