    Yes, Microsoft has ended support for any new vulnerabilities in Windows XP. You can still download Windows Updates for previously detected vulnerabilities.

    Agreed, on April 8th perxactly. Also for the Office 2003 suite and its applications. Older versions of Office and Windows have already had support dropped.

    There's also a very real possibility that suitable antivirus programs will drop support, some have announced keeping for only 2 years and some not as long.
