    Delete symbols

I converted a pdf document to Word, and throughout the document, the program inserted a small "o", superscript, before each word. Any way I can get rid of these?
    Thanks in advance.

That is a "hard" or "non-breaking" space. If you hide the non-printing formatting characters, you will not see it, but it will still be there. Show/hide non-printing formatting characters

You can select one, and copy it. Then use Ctrl+H to replace. Paste that character into the Find box. In the replace box, press the space bar. Then click on replace all.
