Learn Windows Server 2012 or 2008?

I will be using at work 2008 version. So should I learn 2008 or hop into 2012??
Asking this because I dont know how much there are differences in UI, administering, settings etc.
I am quite noob here now, and dont wanna be confused if I learn 2012.
    Thank for advises...

If you are using 2008, learn 2008. The hard part is understanding the server/network bits, not the UI. Also 2008 UI is just like Windows 7 so that should make starting easy.

    cheers, Paul
