Outlook 2010 IMAP and separate file for Contacts and calendar.
I read about separating the two files some time back, and have had good luck with the process.
Of late though, Outlook has been creating "duplicate" mail files (Outlook.pst, Outlook(1).pst, Outlook(2).pst etc). This then somehow disrupts the send process, so that often mail I send stays in the Outbox of my (second) data file -- the one with contacts etc. Then, when I try to exit Outlook, it tells me I still have unsent mail.
It makes sense, I guess, that pending Sent mail would be locally stored, but then why the glitch?
I have the Sent option set to keeping copies on the server, as shown:
What do I need to straighten this out?
