Windows Resource Meter

Whenever the computer is started, the Windows Resource Meter is automatically loaded with an icon in the System Tray. Clicking on the icon and selecting EXIT closes the Meter. However, when the computer is restarted, the Resource Meter is once again loaded. How can we stop the Resource Meter from automatically loading everytime?

It's probably in the Startup group, rather than a registry entry. Nevertheless, the easiest way is to go to Start/Run & type msconfig & press enter. Click the startup tab & you can uncheck almost anything you want.
