    Add SATA ports

I just bought a Lenovo PC. It only has 3 SATA ports, is it possible to add more? Maybe with an add-on card?

Check out what Google Search found:

Also be sure to check inside the case to see if there's room to mount an additional drive. If not you might want to choose an eSATA card and go external.

A couple of things to consider, one is the size/capacity of the power supply and the other is cooling, might need another case fan.

An add on PCI card would be your best bet, but like Berton mentions, open the case & get ahold of the motherboard & case schematics before deciding anything.

You're going to want to know what fits and what does not.
