There's no where to hide.
Interesting story from Gizmodo (original source ProPublica). Looks like there's really little folk can do now against cookie-less tracking.

Fingerprinting has been around a while. This 'new' type is a clever variation. As far as I know htere is no way to prevent fingerprinting. Privacy Badger is suggested as a remedy in the article however it is unclear if it would work.
Does Privacy Badger prevent fingerprinting?
Currently, Privacy Badger does not prevent browser fingerprinting, of the sort we demonstrated with the Panopticlick project. But we will be adding fingerprinting countermeasures in a future update!
Check out panopticlick : https://panopticlick.eff.org/
if you doubt it.
Your browser fingerprint appears to be unique among the 4,342,553 tested so far.
Just because you don't know where you are going doesn't mean any road will get you there.

I personally gave up any hope of privacy as soon as I joined Facebook. Rememeber what Scott McNealy told?
You have zero privacy anyway. Get over it.Fact of Life:
