Microsoft Security Essentials potentially unprotected after Quick Scan

    Hello,

I have a Windows 7 computer that had been off a few days. I use Microsoft Security Essentials. Microsoft Security Essentials indicated the status as potentially unprotected so I ran a Quick scan.

    Screenshot below,

After the scan Microsoft Security Essentials indicated I should run a scan and that my PC status was potentially unprotected. Why? I just ran a scan.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Various opinions here: Why is Microsoft Security Essentials constantly saying potentially unprotected?

(e.g. uncheck and save, then recheck and save, real-time protection works for some.)
