    What kind of radio button - ActiveX or in a userform? What happens if the user changes their mind or clicks on it unintentionally?

    Assuming it is an ActiveX control you have two choices:
    1. Put it in a group so the user can click a different button in the group so that one becomes deselected automatically
    2. Use a macro

    The macro can be done by following these steps.

    Go to the Developer Tab and turn on Design Mode
    Right Click the Radio button and choose View Code
    Make note of the name of the option button and code along the following lines
    Private Sub OptionButton1_DblClick(ByVal Cancel As MSForms.ReturnBoolean)
      OptionButton1.Value = False
    End Sub
